Healthier You: Behavioural Support for Obesity Prescribing programme

The NHS Behavioural Support for Obesity Prescribing (BSOP) programme is designed to support individuals who have been prescribed tirzepatide (Mounjaro®), combining medical treatment with tailored behavioural, nutritional, and psychological support. Delivered by expert providers Xyla, this programme helps you build sustainable habits for long-term health and wellbeing.

BSOP is a structured support programme for people prescribed tirzepatide (Mounjaro®). It focuses on:

  • Nutrition: Support you to eat nourishing foods and achieve a healthy weight.
  • Physical Activity: Discover how physical activity supports weight loss and find ways to stay active that work for you.

Empowering people to live healthier lives for longer

At Xyla, we’re dedicated to making the UK healthier. Working with local authorities, CCGs, NHS England and employers, we offer innovative health and wellbeing services. Our goal is to create long-term health benefits through sustained lifestyle changes.

The UK’s largest healthcare solutions partner

We’re part of Acacium Group. That means we have the infrastructure of a large, robust organisation with experience across the healthcare industry. Our people are highly capable specialists who follow a proven, insight-based approach.

Fully integrated

We’re one of the few UK organisations who offer a fully integrated health service that can be tailored to the needs of communities. Commissioners can work with us across our entire integrated health and wellbeing service or select the most relevant aspects.

Person centred

We support the health and wellbeing of people who need our services. Our programmes are user-focused – we support individuals via personalised action plans. This structure allows people to decide what is best to support them during the programme and beyond.
