The NHS Behavioural Support for Obesity Prescribing (BSOP) programme is designed to support individuals who have been prescribed tirzepatide (Mounjaro®), combining medical treatment with tailored behavioural, nutritional, and psychological support. You’ll have an initial assessment over the phone, followed by 6 fortnightly and 7 monthly sessions, plus a follow up end of programme review delivered in a local venue.
Please note: In-person groups may not be tailored for patients taking tirzepatide (Mounjaro®), and may include a mix of participants from our preventing diabetes programme.

To be eligible for this programme, you need to be prescribed tirzepatide for weight management. Please speak to your prescriber to check if you are eligible and to ask them to refer you.
